RODEC™ No-Turn Tool
The RODEC™ No-Turn Tool is designed for PC pump applications where the stator is held stationary. The torque generated by the PC pump can either set the No-Turn Tool, or it can be mechanically set using a RODEC™ NT Tubing Swivel. The NT Swivel will allow the user to mechanically set the No-Turn Tool to the right to assure that the tool is firmly set upon installation. The more torque the pump generates the harder the No-Turn Tool's slips bite into the casing to ensure that the pump remains stationary. The NT Swivel has a unique design feature that can mechanically un-set the No-Turn Tool by turning to the left. With a No-Turn Tool and an NT Tubing Swivel, the tubing can be rotated during production to reduce tubing wear and maximize tubing life.
