RODEC™ Auto-Lift™ Rod Lifters

The RODEC™ Auto-Lift™ Rod Lifter is a portable hand tool that raises the sucker rod string on oil wells equipped with a PC down-hole pump system. Its proprietary lift system uses the power of the pump drive to lift the rod string a desired amount, enabling the operator to reposition rod couplings or the pump rotor promptly without lost production time.
Economical Adjustment of Rods or Rotor
The portable RODEC Auto-Lift Rod Lifter requires no additional tools or equipment to raise the rods. The Rod Lifter utilizes only the power of the pump drive to raise the entire rod string. Once the lift is complete, the Auto-Lift Rod Lifter can be transferred to other wells requiring rod string adjustment.

Used periodically in combination with a RODEC™ Tubing Rotator, the Auto-Lift Rod Lifter will virtually eliminate the expense and delay associated with holed tubing on any well. Continuous rotation of tubing by the rotator spreads wear around the inner circumference of the tubing for 6 to 10 times more life. By additionally lifting the rod string periodically, the rod couplings and shear coupling are moved vertically to a new location in the tubing, thus extending tubing life indefinitely.
Save Wear and Tear on Pumping Equipment
Lifting the rod string may also be required to space out the rotor in the stator of the pump. The use of the RODEC Auto-Lift Rod Lifter to immediately reset an improperly positioned pump rotor translates to significant savings in wear and tear on pumping equipment. You also save the production time that would be otherwise lost waiting for a rig to reset the pump. The RODEC Auto-Lift Rod Lifter also repositions the polished rod wear location in the stuffing box to further maximize life.
