New Era® Rod Guides

Tubing Wear Prevention Solutions Graphic Link New Era Rod Guides Graphic

Since 1941, nobody has been able to match R&M Energy Systems for solutions to down-hole problems. Using the proprietary Rod Guide Advisory Program (RGAP™), wellbore deviations, dynamometer readings, workover histories, well operating conditions, completion information and production data, R&M Energy Systems selects the proper rod guide designs, material and spacing for each well.

R&M Energy Systems' Systems Approach uses rod guides to increase production and decrease workover costs. As the leader in rod guide technology, R&M Energy Systems has developed scientific solutions based on accurate engineering and laboratory testing, supplemented with more than 50 years of experience.

For the best solutions to down-hole problems, go with R&M Energy Systems... the leader in rod guide technology.

Material Selection

R&M Energy Systems offers a complete line of engineered plastics, enhanced with performance additives, which can be tailored to virtually any well condition. Three base polymers - Nylon, PPA and PPS - have demonstrated excellent performance in a number of harsh environments. Additives such as glass, minerals and aramid fibers can enhance the performance of these base polymers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following guidelines are for general reference only and should not be used as the sole determining factor for rod guide material selection. Each down-hole condition is different and must be addressed on a case-by-case basis by trained R&M Energy Systems technicians to determine the best solution for your particular well.
