R & M Energy Systems recently introduced a new seal for its Sentry® Closure product line.  The new one-piece seal will be produced in all current sizes and have the ability to fit the seal groove of existing closures.

Combining customer feedback and continuous improvements, the new seal is designed as a one-piece molded seal with the anti-extrusion device imbedded into the seal.  The seal operates at low pressure applications and is easy to install.

The new seal will be offered in various compounds and hardness to fit several applications, such as FKM 70 Duro, FKM 90 Duro, HNBR 70 Duro, and HNBR 90 Duro.  Some of the new compounds will be capable of operating temperatures as low as -40°F.
