CVC Digital Control Choke Minimize
The field proven CVC choke delivers automated flow control under the highest pressure differentials and flow rates while drawing a small amount of electrical current. A built-in internal battery back-up system allows the choke to operate several times in the event of a power loss.

T3's staff engineering can program the model CVC-ME to run on almost any RTU, including Fisher ROC107 and others.

Common applications include:
  • Ability to reduce situations when the shut-down valve is triggered due to downstream pipeline over-pressurization. The choke can sense when pressure is too high and will start to close.  It will open again once pipeline pressure returns to normal
    • Reduces lost production
    • Allows pumper crews to work on more critical issues
  • Moving pigs more efficiently down a pipeline by turning on chokes as the pig passes a specific well
  • Maintaining frac proppant in the rock formations by forcing the well to fall along a very precise pressure decline or flow curve
